Welcome! open okpyon is the world’s first bilingual, open source Chinese character dictionary for the Korean language. Games, tests, English definitions, and an extensive glossary are unique to the open okpyon experience. It goes without saying that dictionaries like Naver are great, but many of the words in this dictionary are not available on dictionaries like Naver in English.
A unique feature about this project is when you go to a character page as a member, you will be asked if you know words associated with the page’s Chinese character. I currently have 8000 hint words and recently added over 16000 more. Every word definition you add makes that number get smaller!
